Championship series looking to prove their competitive driving ability
against veteran opposition. Ratcliffe earned his competition license in
1974 from England’s Royal Automobile Club while serving in the armed
forces. While in Europe, he competed in several top racing series,
including the STP and Wella for Men open-wheel championships.
